Infrastructure Manager – June 11 – March 2014

Lead the design and migration of Allocate Software plc Wide Area Network, from a legacy site to site IPSEC WAN to Verizon Business MPLS network across 10 sites globally. The migration comprised of the following components
- MPLS Network Migration
- Design and Implementation of Co-Location Datacentre utilising Telehouse West in London Docklocks.
- Border security infrastructure design and implementation
Design, built and implemented a Virtual Private Cloud infrastructure to support Allocate mission critical applications (Exchange/Lync/MS CRM/ MS GP). Utilising HP Hardware (Servers and Storage) and Microsoft Hyper-V and cluster services combine with MS SCVMM 2012.
Designed, built and implemented new Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 for entire group, migrating 5 legacy email systems into one central platform for entire group.
Designed, built and implemented new Microsoft Lync Server 2010 for use by the entire group, with Enterprise voice and integration with Verizon business SIP Trunk service and Audiocodes Gateway hardware.
- Migrated 6 legacy IP PBX/TDM solutions
- Migrated all legacy ISDN service to SIP Trunk with savings of £50k per annum.

- Global Remote Access services design and migration (IPSEC and SSL VPN).

Design and deployment of Smiths Enterprise Wireless solutions & standards using Cisco hardware.
Assist in the design and implementation of a Central AT&T Managed Cisco IPT environment now being deployed to 6000 seats across Smiths.
